For the first employee spotlight of the New Year, we introduce Kristin Sayles! Kristin worked briefly for The Carriage Works in 2013. After a hiatus from the company, she rejoined the team in 2016 and recently celebrated her two-year anniversary with the “new” TCW.
If you have ever called the corporate office, chances are, you’ve talked with Kristin and her bubbly personality! As a corporate account executive, Kristin is an integral member of The Carriage Works sales team. Her passion and skill at work lies in superb customer service and helping clients walk through the process of creating and building the product of their dreams. Combining her experience as a sales operations assistant and customer service specialist, Kristin strives to exceed her clients’ expectations through every stage of the process: design, building, shipping, and installation. For her, the best part about this job is seeing how a design on a paper comes to reality!
When asked what her favorite project is, Kristin couldn’t narrow it down to just one! She loves all the Ben & Jerry’s kiosks because who doesn’t love ice cream?! As well as the MGM ticket booths, Ryan Brothers Coffee and a local project for Klamath County Transitions Program.
Away from work, Kristin is a wife and a mom to two grown sons. As a family, the Sayles love to camp, fish & hunt. When she isn’t spending time with her family, Kristin is baking or canning their garden fresh fruits and vegetables, reading, sewing or crafting!
A couple of fun facts most may not know about Kristin, she is able to milk a cow with her hand or a machine! Both of her boys were raised on a dairy farm and she grew up with a milk cow. In addition, she created her own brand of olive oil lotions, soaps & lip balms that are sold locally in Klamath Falls. It is called Emily Jean Rose Company – which are her sisters’ and her middle names.
Thank you Kristin for all your hard work – keep it up!
